As a convenience to our patients we accept many Insurance plans, Unions and Vision Programs. Exact coverage will be dependent upon the services provided, your eligibility on the date of service, and the benefits outlined in your plan. If you have specific questions about your benefits, or your insurance is not listed below, please feel free to contact us. We will be happy to assist you. We understand that insurance companies can be confusing. Our staff is here to help you.
If we don't accept direct assignment for your specific insurance and/or vision program, we will be more than happy to provide you with detailed receipts to optimize your out-of-network reimbursements.

We are now accepting Medicare for primary eye care and examinations. For those patients who have had cataract surgery, Medicare will provide one pair of glasses (under specific guidelines) for each surgery. Patients who have not have lens implants after cataract removal and use strong contact lenses to see are also covered. These patients are eligible to get glasses and contact lenses annually if your prescription changes. According to federal law, patients are responsible for 20% of all Medicare transactions.
Medicaid
Both of our American Vision offices are accepting Medicaid for exams, frames and lenses if you qualify. Please call and make an appointment with our doctors. Monday through Friday only.
